Fire Safety Policy

Guests at this premises agree to the following fire safety proceedures:

In case of fire all occupants must evacuate the building in an orderly manner using the exit closest to them. This may be the front doors or the kitchen door.

The fire assembly point is at the exit of the circular drive.

No smoking or vaping on the premises.

Smoking facilities and disposal facilities are outside the building. This is the only place smoking is allowed.

Vaping equipment must not be charged on radiators.

Externally stored combustible materials must not be stored directly against any buildings or near car parking.

Combustible materials must not be stored where materials can accidentally come into contact with ignition sources. This applies to working fireplaces. Fuel must be stored in fireproof containers not directly in front of the fireplace.

Fireplaces must only be lit by either the owner or by adults in charge of exclusive use bookings who have been briefed on the Fire Safety Policy and agree to the policies.

Fireplaces must alway have a fireguard in place when in use.

If a fireplace is in use it must be continually monitored. Fires must be extinguished if all occupants are to leave the room.

Flammable cleaning materials are not to be used on the property.

The only persons to be allowed on the premises are guests, staff, appointed contractors, and visitors by arrangement with owner or manager.

Fire doors are not to be wedged open.

Do not use non EU standard electrical equipment.

No deep fat fryers allowed on premises.

If using the kitchen do not leave cooker unattended.
